All face-to-face, school-based programs are on hold due to COVID-19 and are under strategic review.
Ready, Steady & Go are experiential programs where a child (6 – 12 years old) and parent (or significant caregiver) attend their school after hours to participate together in structured activities that are fun, inspiring and support meaningful connection.
The activities introduce parents to ideas and strategies that support their child’s social development and nurture their emotional wellbeing. There are three different versions of the program, one for each stage in primary school. Each version has a distinct developmental focus and a unique set of activities relevant to the age group.
All programs are one-off events that can be delivered in a 3-hour hang out format or the longer camp out format, which involves camping overnight on the school grounds.
By implementing Ready > Steady > Go, schools provide a developmental journey for students with their parents through their school life and embed social and emotional wellbeing for families into their annual school programming and culture.
